He was predeceased by: his father Robert W. Carey; and his aunts and uncles, Charles Hart (Esther), Eugene Hart (Una), Kenneth Hart (Lois), Robert Hart (Lillian), William Hart, Alice Moon (Bonnie), Mary Lou Morley (Warren), Rose Ann Sloan (Donald), Eugene Carey (Joan), Winifred Carey, Ronald Carey, Lois Carey, William Thompson and Dick Pryor.
He is survived by: his mother Doris J. Carey (Hart); his close friend Linda Hunt; his brother David W. Carey (Judith); his nephew Michael D. Carey (Tracy); his aunts and uncles, Jeanette Sopher (Bill), Linda Pryor (Hart), Judith Gilliland (Hart), James C Hart (Carolyn), Dale Carey and Doris Thompson (Carey); and also Bobby Hunt (Lisa).
