He is survived by: his children, Harry L. "Vern" Lightner, Melissa K. Bowser (Joe), Michelle L. Barr (Reed), James R. Lightner and Christine; and his sister Sharyn Kawecki. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
