She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Shaffer. She is survived by: her mother Ella Shaffer (Moss); her husband David Guy "Butch" Hindman; her daughters, Cheryl Bowan of Oil City, PA and Barbara Irwin (Jeff) of Independence, MO; and her siblings, Helen Redman and Glenn Shaffer (Darlene). She is also survived by five grandsons, a granddaughter.
