He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ross E. Covert and Mary E. Covert (Kay); his former wife Ruth Ellen Loper; his wife Edna; his daughters, Patricia Bonig (Reid) of Columbia, SC and Pamela Menacher; his stepdaughter Judy Buchanan (Shawn) of Mercer, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick Bonig, Shane, Justin and Courtney Buchanan; his siblings, Florence "Sis" Birckbichler (Dale), Orrin Covert, Leroy "Lee" Covert (Linda), Edna Ruley, Dorothie Barger, Helen Dennison, Betty Covert and David Covert; and his son-in-law Richard "Bud" Menacher. He was also cherished by 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial Tributes can be made in Lynn's memory to the East Main Presbyterian Church.
