It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Umstead of Grove City, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Umstead, (Whitley) and Daniel Wallace Umstead, Jr.; his former wife Brenda Umstead; and his sister Mamie Elizabeth Troup. He is survived by: his girlfriend Brenda Hanes; his children, Kenneth Umstead (Nicole), William Bowman, Billy Joe Umstead, Kel Umstead (Nicole Roberts), Tom Umstead, Loretta Umstead (Ernie Dykins, Jr.) and Chris Umstead; and his siblings, Mary Jane Nulph (Donald), Linda Lou Miller, Patricia G. Kinch (Harold "Sonny"), John David Umstead and Daniel W. Umstead III. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
