He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irvin Leroy and Haddie Shipton; his former wife Wilma L. Warren; his wife Ann E. Thompson (Beaton) of Mars, PA; his children, Joni Bencic, Daniel Shipton (Karen), Slippery Rock and Brian Shipton (Michelle) of Mars, PA; his grandchildren, Sarah Bencic, Jesse, Jacob, Marla and Courtney Shipton; and his sister Helen Winger Kerr.
