He was predeceased by: his father Ed Sowers; his sister Connie; and his pet Max. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Sowers (Mahood); his children, Tracy Mahaffey (Chris) and Tyler Sowers; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Nolan and Kylie Mahaffey; his siblings, Carol Weil, Jeff Sowers (Laurie) and Shawn Sowers (Lenore); and his pet Rawly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
