He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin W. George and Margaret E. George (Deitrick); and his son John W. George, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judith Bennett McGrew; his children, Teresa L. Oswald (Rick) of Orlando, FL, William G. "Bill" McGrew of Dallas, TX, Catherine L. Watts (Kevin) and Avis E. Graham (Timothy); his daughter-in-law Angela M. George; and his sisters, Jean E. Rearick and Sara M. "Sally" McCullough. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great and 2 other great grandchildren.
