He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Richardson and Isabelle Richardson (Grossman); and his siblings, Mary Ann Tomson, Melva McDowell, Francis, Chester and William Richardson.

He is survived by: his wife Jean C. McCurdy; his daughters, Jill R. Ochs (Travis) and Joni L. Kostelnik (Nate); his grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan Ochs, Adelyn and Parker Kostelnik; and his sister Jean Carlson (Ed) of Grove City.
