She was predeceased by: her parents, John James Raybould and Grace Buchanan Raybould Elder; her husband William L. Briggs; her daughter Connie Williams; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Murray, George J., James B., Jackson E. and Robert E. Raybould.
She is survived by: her sons, William D. "Bill" Briggs (Bert) and Richard K. "Rick" Briggs (Jody Ann); and her son-in-law Mitchell Williams of Ash, NC.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
