He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Truran and Ellen M. Truran (King); and his brothers, Gerald, William "Bill" and Richard "Dick" Truran.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. McNees; his sons, Mark Truran and John Truran (Betsy); his grandsons, Keith and Kevin Turner; his sister-in-law Roberta Geyer (Allen) of Scotch Plains, NJ.; and also Paul Truran (Cindy) of Dothan, AL.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
