He was predeceased by: his spouse Rosario "Rose" Bumbacco. He is survived by: his significant other Genevieve Perry of Grove City; his son Frank Dydek III (Debra) of Harrisville; and his siblings, Sandra Harry and Joseph Dydek (Susan) of Mercer.

Memorial donations may be made to either Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh or the Church of the Beloved Disciple.
