She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw Sabulski and Mary Sabulski (Kupiec); and her siblings, Ted, Walter, Ben Sabulski, Vi Busch and Sallie Habinak.

She is survived by: her son James Cowger; and her siblings, Vince Sabulski of Pulaski and Stephanie Truchan of Hermitage. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
