He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde W. Sowers and Edith E. Sowers (Uber); his daughter Connie R. Sowers; and his brothers, Donald and James Sowers.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma M. Mahood; his children, Larry E. Sowers, Carol J. Weil, Jeffrey L. Sowers (Laurie) and Slippery Rock (Shawn L. Sowers); and his sisters, Dorothy Keister and Dolores Whetzel. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
