Baxter of Grove City, Pennsylvania, born in Jackson Center, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Baxter and Marie Marshall Baxter (Gourley); and his siblings, Rhoda McCartney, Wes, Art, Paul and David Baxter.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys E. Sayre; his children, Linda Houston (Jim Butts), Barbara J. Larson (Bill) of Longwood, FL, James R. Baxter of Lantana, FL and Marla Kay Black (Larry) of Bakersfield, CA; and his grandchildren, Heather R. Rodgers, Courtney L. Abbott, Jamie Pesek, Andrea Larson, Hannah Cullen, Naomi Baxter, Josiah Baxter, Emily Singleton and Justin Black. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
