He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Custer and Twila E. Custer (Edinger); his brothers, Lester and Arthur Custer; his former spouse Wilhemina Custer; his son David Custer, Jr.; and his son-in-law Richard Conley.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Custer of New Castle, PA, Victoria Custer of Slippery Rock, PA, Twila Custer (Scott Lightner) of Farrell, Eletta Conley of Grove City and Kenneth Custer (Joy) of Kentucky; and his brother Robert Custer (Myrtle) of Burghill, OH. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
