In the sacred silence of farewell, Chester is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Chester's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Makepeace and Nora Paden; and his son William K. "Bill" Makepeace. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Sterner; his children, Donna Stanton, Debra Trapasso (John) and Donald R. Makepeace; and his daughter-in-law Julie Thayer Makepeace. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12, great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (210 S Broad St, Grove City, PA 16127).
