She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Elford and Villa Elford (Burdette); her husband Russell C. Hancox; her daughter Linda; and her brothers, Carmen, Cecil and Calvin.

She is survived by: her children, LuAnn McKee, Mary Pitzer, Russell E., David and Thomas R.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and more than a dozen great grandchildren.
