He is survived by: his partner Fran Seekford; his children, Patricia E. Bruner, Thomas E. Bruner and George L. Bruner (Jana Corneilus); and also Jean Clark of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
