She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Lyth and Estella Lyth (Johnson); her husband Richard "Stretch" Laverty; and her sons, William D. Laverty and R. J. Laverty.
She is survived by: her children, Gena Laverty of Farrell, Robert W. Laverty (LaRayne) of Saegertown and James D. Laverty of Sharon; and her sister Dorothy Boles of Hermitage. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
