She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Maness and Mamie Maness (Lassiter); and her husband Sgt. William G. Patterson of Stoneboro, PA. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis E. Patterson (Betty) of Knightdale, NC and William Gerald Patterson (Belle) of Richmond, VA; and her siblings, Joann Bennett of Star, NC., Ellwood Maness and Eula Mae Stephens. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
