She was predeceased by: her parents, Annabelle Burruss (Stover) and Ashton Norman Burruss; her husband Scotty Cameron McLaughlin; and her sisters, Jeanette Merritt and Joyce Lilly.

She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Dumrauf (Thomas) and Judy McLaughlin; her grandchildren, Sean Basham, Kelly Dumrauf (Michael Vannoy), Alyxzandra Blanch (Cameron) of Stafford, VA and Jillian Hargett (Jimmy) of Hagerstown, MD; her great grandchildren, Corrine Blanch, Cameron Basham, Teagan Hargett, Willow Blanch and Aiden Hargett; her siblings, Jim Burruss of Albany, GA, Diana King (Dave) of Mountain City, TN and Patty Cleveland (Charles) of Hilton Head, SC; and her brother-in-law Sonny Lilly of Charlestown, WV..
