It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia Duratz (Grindstone, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 4, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Doc" Duratz; her sister-in-law Betty Duratz; and her siblings, Carmen "Carlo" DellaPenna, Julianna Aquilante and Josephine Novakowski.
She is survived by: her parents, Nunziato DellaPenna and Domenica DellaPenna (Giangulio); her children, Carla DellaPenna, Carl DellaPenna (Amy), Ninette DellaPenna and Vince DellaPenna (Pam); her nieces and nephews, Katie, Carl Jr., Christina (Andrew Cotton), Anthony, Caleb DellaPenna, Linda, Nick, Ron Aquilante, Maria Novakowski Beisler, Joseph Novakowski and Daniel Novakowski; her sister-in-law Jeanne Bozek (DellaPenna); and her daughters, Lisa Carney, Robin Cole and Susan Kennedy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
