He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Connelly and Mabel Tomlinson Connelly; and his siblings, Tom Glawinski, Katherine Roberts and Velma Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Ruth Welch Connelly; and his children, David Terry of Los Banos, Jonathan Connelly of Grindstone, Nancy Owens of Missouri, Dawn Angel Borreggine and Louanne Terry of Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
