He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Virena Hittle (Harpst); his wife Kathryn P. Hittle (McConnell); his father George Paul Hittle, Sr.; and his sisters, Ina Kaber and Winnegean Hittle.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hittle of Cockeysville, MD and Edward Hittle.
