He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Bissell; his close friend Rose Lenart; his son Robert Bissell; his former wife Marjorie Bissell (Evelyn); and his siblings, Alice Ohle, Morton Bissell, Richard Bissell and Frances Ruppersberger.
He is survived by: his nieces, Mary Jo Rembold of Transfer, PA, Carol Ohle of Transfer, PA and Janet Landfried (Scott) of Greenville, PA; his nephew Bruce Bissell of Orwell, OH; and also, Lea, Lori, William, Traci, Tina and Tricia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
