She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman C. Shaw and Frances Shaw (Shaffstall); her husband Walter Redmond (Peewee); her sons, Richard and Craig Redmond; her grandchildren, Patience, Alexa Redmond and Connor Payne; and her brother Norman Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Payne (Jeffrey) of Oxford, Frank Redmond (Carol) of Flowery Branch, Todd Redmond of Greenville, Walter Redmond of Greenville and Melvin Redmond of Greenville; and her siblings, Mary Whitman, June Carter, Dorothy Frantz (Agnes Johns), Barry Taylor of Franklin and Johnny Shaw of Franklin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
