He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W Sorg and Helen Sorg (Kitch). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sorg; his children, Carl'Sonny'Sorg Jr., Gary (Kelly Sorg), Chuck Sorg, Todd Sorg and Amy Sorg (Wingard); his sisters, Alice McIntire (Fred), Emma Wagler, Betty Boliver (Gary), Sara Garner and Linda Wagler; and his grandchildren, Brittany Sorg, Carl Sorg III, Alexa Kress, Lindsey Turner, Kyle Wingard, Dorian Mueller, Fahn Sorg, Nicole Sorg, Nick Sorg, Sheena Sorg, Paige Sorg and Wade Sorg.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Osborne-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services (73-75 Columbia Ave, Greenville, PA 16125). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
