It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Markellos (Greentown, Pennsylvania), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 16, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Huffman and Frances Gebhart Huffman; her husband Nicholas Markellos; her son Peter Markellos; and her siblings, Mary, Ruth and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. David Markellos (Cherylynn) of Maine and Mary Aleckna (Steve) of Greentown; and her grandchildren, David Markellos Jr., Lindsey Clancy (Jonathan) and Kristen Libby (Erin).
Donations in her name to the Allied Hospice Center for their gracious and compassionate care of those in need of support, would be greatly appreciated.
