He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles E. Sr. Hawkins; his wife Cynthia A. Hawkins (Golden); his sons, Charles Hawkins III and Brian (Anna Hawkins); his grandchildren, Cody, Talan and Ceeylia Jane; his stepgrandchildren, Marta and Agata; his sisters, Joan and Mary; his siblings-in-law, John, James Golden and Margaret Golden; and his sister Deborah Hawkins. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
