He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Sr. Holtzer and Elsie Viola Holtzer (Cramer); his wife Dolores; his son Kurt Holtzer; and his siblings, Harry Holtzer and Betty Powell.
He is survived by: his son Karl William Holtzer (Bernard "Bernie" Henn); his grandchildren, Sterling Mortensen, Denae Holtzer-Yokum, Kory Jacob Holtzer and Kathryn "Katie" Elizabeth Holtzer; his great grandchildren, Ashton and Gemma Holtzer; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Polsinelli (DeMark) and Margaret Davis (James "Jim"). He is also survived by relatives.
