He was predeceased by: his father Ray W. Scherer; and his niece Rylee Grace Scherer. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Queer Scherer; his wife April M. Lang Scherer; his children, Raelynn Scherer and Zachary Scherer; his stepchildren, Jean Hawes (Mathew Kramer) and Aleasha Donoughe (Andy Scheller); his grandchildren, Dominic, Carson, Alexa, Ava and Levi; his brothers, Randy Scherer and Ryan Scherer (Carin); his nephews, Brendan and Brody Scherer; his aunt Tressa Cesario; and his uncles, Dennis Scherer and David Scherer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Mutual Fire Hall (214 Mutual Firehall Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601).
