Michael A. Palenchar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Michael A. Palenchar of Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Palenchar and Mary Palenchar (Puhala); his former wife Mildred "Mitzi" Palenchar (Valentic); his wife Judith Palenchar (Perhac); and his siblings, Albert, Joseph, William, John, Andrew Palenchar and Helen Woodman.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Palenchar (Gina) of Greensburg and Michael D. Palenchar (Karla) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Gregory Palenchar (Heather), Kristina Palenchar and John Palenchar (Brittney); and his great grandchildren, Luka, Ashleigh, Brayden, Lilliana, Logan, Gavin, Paisleigh, John Jr. and Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc. (516 Stanton St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lord Serbian Orthodox Church (24 N 3rd St, Youngwood, PA 15697).
