It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene A. Van Doren Falvo of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Wagner and Lucille Wagner (Binder) of Adrian, MI.; her husband N. Richard "Dick" Van Doren; her grandparents, Dick and Marlene; her sister Nancy Jean Studnicka (Wagner) of Deerfield, MI; and her granddaughter Kathleen Ann Van Doren.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Allison (Cinderella); her sons, Michael (Linda) of Greensburg and Jeffrey (Maureen) of Roanoke, VA; her daughter-in-law Heather Sweesy of Harmony, PA; her grandchildren, Erica Van Doren, Derek Brooks, Jessica Gorman and Nikki Geiger; her stepchildren, Susan Farrell (Brian) of Damascus, MD and David Falvo (Cindy) of Monroeville; and her stepgrandchildren, Brice Farrell, Adam Farrell (Danielle), Ethan Farrell (Hannah), Alexandra Falvo (Andrew Lamar) and Elisa Midgette (John). She is also survived by two step great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the Central & Western VA Chapter of the Alzheimer's Assoc. of America.
