She was predeceased by: her parents, Jozef Mendel and Anelia Dacko Mendel; her husband William R. Gerard; her daughter Denise Beck; and her grandson Timothy Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Gerard (Sharon Kunkle) of Greensburg, PA, Bill Gerard of Greensburg, PA, David Gerard of Tampa, FL, Karen Bonasso (Phillip) of Franklin, TN, Terri Wagner of Sonoma, CA and Christine Thomas (Terry) of Beltsville, MD. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A prayer was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (1001 Mt Pleasant Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601).
