He was predeceased by: his pets, Rusty, Zoe and Jack. He is survived by: his parents, David L. Metzger of Florida and Nancy A. Metzger (Kisasonak) of Greensburg; his daughter Salem Metzger of Irwin; his brother Jason Metzger of Greensburg; his aunts, Sharon DeCecco and Ann Crawford; and his cousins, Dawn DeCecco, Michael DeCecco (Carly), Andrew DeCecco, Kimberly Jordan (Crawford) and Lyman Crawford IV. He is also survived by extended family, loving friends, and his Army brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kevin's mother, Nancy.
