It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen V. Mulhearn of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Kathleen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kathleen. Though Kathleen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stein and Gertrude Stein (Cowan); her husband William Mulhearn; her granddaughter Melinda Lawrence; and her siblings, Gertrude Verrico, Carla Maxine Stein and John Stein.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Johnson (Charles), Deborah Krestar (Bruce), Margaret Matkoskey (Paul), Joseph Frank and William Mulhearn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
