With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John M. O'Connell Jr. of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. O'Connell and Catherine O'Connell (Dougherty); his son Michael P. O'Connell; and his sister Mary Margaret Truschel. He is survived by: his wife Judith C. O'Connell (Parks); his children, John R. O'Connell (Stacie) and Julie A. Prusock (George, Jr.); his grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, George III, Theodore, Vincent and Jackson; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Parks (Krissie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral (300 N Main St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral or the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library.
