She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Soom; and her brothers, Mark Soom and Joe Soom, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Agnes Jupina Soom; her husband Robert J. "Bob" Black; her sons, Robert Black, Jr., Shawn Black (Liz) and Christopher Black (Melissa); her granddaughters, Vivienne and Julianna Black; and her brother Tim Soom (Sally). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childen's Research Hospital.
