We bid farewell to Joan A. Benjamin of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Joan A. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. McDonough and Helen Ann Coletti McDonough; her daughter Karla Marie Benjamin; and her brother John'Jack'McDonough. She is survived by: her significant other Herschel A. Benjamin; her children, Brian Benjamin (Jane) of Somerset and Lynn Lawrence (Kurt) of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Caitlin Ulicny (Michael), Christina Maroadi (Anthony), Katie "Benjamin" Cole (Matthew), Nicholas Benjamin (Jess Fichner) and Connor Lawrence; her great grandchildren, Michael, Capri Ulicny and Leo Maroadi; her siblings, Donna Guskiewicz of Greensburg, Catherine Burlaga (Leonard) of Maryland, Maureen Stansell (Donald) of Maryland and Dennis McDonough (Patricia) of Latrobe; and her sister-in-law Diane McDonough. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:45 PM and at 6:30 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bruno Church (1715 Poplar St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
