He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith; his sons, Jeffrey Smith (Andrea) and Douglas Smith (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Zoe, Ean, Nicholas and Jacob; and his brothers, Rod Smith (Priscilla) and Bart Smith (Pat).
