Garnet L. Gilan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, at the age of 82, Garnet L. Gilan of Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Garnet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Garnet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Jamison Carnes. She is survived by: her husband Francis E. Gilan; her son Jason Gilan (Megan); her grandson Enzo Gilan; and her brother Roy Carnes (Rebecca).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kepple Graft Funeral Home (524 N Main St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
