With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth M. Buckley Carrier of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Elizabeth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Elizabeth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thomas and Ann Amigh Thomas; her great grandchild Isabella Heaton; her brothers, David Thomas and Robert Thomas; her son-in-law Mark Oesterlin; and her former husband Glenn Buckley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Elizabeth Oesterlin of Clearwater, FL; and her sisters, Diane Lasitis of Greensburg and Darlene Doyle of Gainesville, FL.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barnhart Funeral Home (505 E Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
