He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Solochier and Elizabeth Solochier of Greensburg; and his brothers, Konrad (Edna Solochier) and Bernard (Audrey Solochier). He is survived by: his wife Olga (Hutnick); his grandchildren, Eric (Terra), Steve (Hannah), Katlin, Haleigh, Cody, Alex, Rylee Solochier, Nick and Ben Benner (Brenna); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Evan, Levi and Gavin Solochier. He is also survived by his five children and their spouses.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barnhart Funeral Home (505 E Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral (300 N Main St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
