She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel G. Matthews Sr. and Doris Horning Matthews Morley; and her brothers, Samuel G. Matthews Jr., Dr. Ted A. Matthews and Keith B. Matthews.
She is survived by: her brother Dennis Matthews (Mary Ann). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
