She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Shutt and Alice Shutt (Kelley); her husband Paul N. Koontz; and her brothers, Edward S. and Paul R. Shutt.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Ruffner (John III) of Harrison City; her granddaughter Jacquelyn A. Ruffner; and her siblings, Lois M. Shoaf and A. Louis Shutt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
