He is survived by: his wife Barb Askey (Marsh); his son Ben Boone of Morgantown; his stepchildren, Jacob Askey of Greensboro, Joel Askey of Greensboro, Stacey Johnson (Kyle) of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and Elizabeth Gordon of Morgantown; and his siblings, Lawrence E. Boone, Jr. (Sue) of Lyle, N. Y. (Nelson E. Boone) and Cynthia D. Mackey (Lee) of Carmichaels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
