She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rutan and Ida Rutan (Morris); and her husband Donald Ray Wamsley, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Donald R. Wamsley, Jr. of Carmichaels, Matthew Wamsley of Greensboro, Heather May (Ron) of Carmichaels and Tiffany Dewitt of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Samantha Chun of Ronnie May, III, Kevin Hayes, Danielle, Sarah and Aiden Dewitt; her great grandchild River Chun; her siblings, Gladys Thomas (Dave) of Greene County, Maryann Adams (Ida John), W. Va, Melvin, David Lee and William "Billy" Rutan; and her son-in-law Daniel Dewitt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
