He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dankovich and Mary Dankovich (Karlock). He is survived by: his wife Paulette Kukuchka; his daughter Dr. Megan Dankovich (Dominic Argentieri) of Rockville; his granddaughters, Sibyl Argentieri and Sonya Argentieri; his sister Carol Olson of Uniontown; his aunt Irene Muccino of Bridgeville; his son Geoffrey Dankovich; his sister Susan Cocrane; and his stepson Craig Skvarch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either Tunnel to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org) or to Wounded Warrior Project.
