He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Jaster and Francis Jaster (Ludtke); his wife Marilyn Jaster (McRitchie); and his sisters, Priscilla Groth and LaRayne Reimer.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Sokol (James) of Rices Landing, PA, Ricky Jaster (Linda) of Greensboro, PA and Kimberly Jaster of Greensboro, PA; his grandson Garrett Nelson (Leticia); and his great grandchild Connor Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
